Meet Sue Allemand of Palette Primitives!

Sue Allemand has been designing sewing, painting and stitching projects forever, it seems! She has been doing all of this professionally since 1990. She is a self-taught artist and is widely known for her folk art, primitive and whimsical designs. She has designed artwork for 100s of projects for magazines, books, patterns, rubber stamps, buttons, giftware, seasonal items, prints, wall art, licensing and more!

Sue hopes to bring a smile to her customers' faces through her artwork. "Don't take life too seriously!" - that's one of her motto's. "Find the FUN in everything you do, even if it's something you don't enjoy doing!"

Sue moved cross-country to her dream San Diego, in June 2009 (from WI), and will continue designing for her many outlets and even expand into more exciting things! "I'll be soooo much more productive in the warm, sunny weather! Just wait & see! Thank you to Sarah at Down the Handmade Path for believing me 'featureable' ".
