Meet
Heidi Markish!
|
Heidi
Markish has been involved in the world
of crafts since 1991 when she began
sewing some dolls and making a few odds
and ends. Since then, it has
been a live and learn process for Heidi.
After attending some craft shows, Heidi
was determined to try her hand at
painting and, slowly but surely, she
taught herself to paint. In 1997,
Heidi decided to take a major step
forward and began to design, publish,
and market her own patterns. Her
business immediately took off and has
continued to grow each year. |

Heidi
has been blessed with three wonderful
children and a family that helps out
whenever possible. Heidi says that
her pattern business would not be
possible without her family that
supports her and helps out during the
very busy times. Heidi currently
has over 200 pattern packets available
and has two published books. She
tries to keep designing every month, but
this can be quite busy, at times, with
three little ones and her job as an
elementary school teacher.

"I
feel like a very lucky person these
days...I am so glad I followed my heart.
It has really been a dream come true."
