Meet Artist Nancy Malay!

Nancy Malay creates a unique variety of one of a kind items, including vintage style Santas, snowmen, rabbits, chicks, Americana and Halloween items. Nancy takes pride in her attention to detail, as she meticulously handcrafts each creation using paper clay, paper mache, or cloth. Mica, vintage trims, German glass glitter, and tinsel give her items a look that's reminiscent of earlier times. Some of Nancy's pieces are crafted in the Folk Art tradition, some from vintage or reproduction chocolate molds, while others look like they were handed down from the Victorian Era.

Nancy is honored to have been chosen by the prestigious Early American Life magazine as one of this country's top Artisans and is listed in the 2008 Directory of Traditional American Crafts Holiday issue. She was doubly pleased to be listed in two areas.... SANTAS and OTHER HOLIDAYS.

Being listed in the Directory is an honor bestowed on a handful of artisans who work in traditional media, styles, and crafts--an award that singles out their work as the best produced in America today.
